Tainan Air Base
Long live Google maps and Satellite view.
Done printing out maps and then allowed to drive around to find the right spotter’s spot near an air base.
Also the fact that you can find the the weather forecasts including wind direction anywhere on the Internet, where the sun will be at any given time makes our hobby once so easy.
Our spotting spot in the morning immediately reminds me of the large biting ruddy ants that wriggled in the grass and on our legs 😉.
Anyway, the path is long enough to avoid standing in the antebellum 😉.
During the morning, we also saw several aircraft arriving for the Tainan Airshow that was going on the next weekend.
During a short break around noon, it was already time to find another spot.
We found this one near some vegetable gardens, where you can park your car nicely on the side.
