This was a challenging airshow for some of the participants among us, as some of them wanted to experience the show from the water for once.

The swell of the water was unpredictable and unexpected, so that numerous times the balance had to be sought and therefore some top moments to photograph were lost.

Considering the high cost and considerable distance from the flightline, we can consider this a partial failure, but was sometimes made up for by the fact that some low altitude displays came flying over our heads at “full” speed.
Also, this way you get to see some aspects of an airshow from a completely different point of view than regular spectators on the beach, such as the Thunderbirds’ break.
