After 2 years, it was finally time to go on an organized spotting trip together with some participants.
The program included the following fields:
- RAF Lakenheath (F-15, F-35)
- RAF Mildenhall (KC-135R/T, WC-135/OC-135/RC-135, CV-22B, MC-130J)
- RAF Cranwell (Phenom 100, Prefect T1, Tutor T1)
- RAF Marham (F-35)
- AAC Wattisham (Apache AH1, AH64E)
Since the departure time of our ferry was advanced, we decided to travel to RAF Coningsby. (first deviation from the itinerary 😉 )
In addition to the Typhoon squadrons, the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight (BBMF) is also housed here, including the Lancaster, Spitfires and Hurricanes.
