Flight over Los Angeles
Like every trip to the USA, the participants could choose from certain options.
One of these options was to take a 2h sightseeing flight over Los Angeles with Star Helicopters .
However, a problem arose on the issue of total weight for their Bell 206 helicopter, so that instead of 4 and getting a flight of 2 hours, we got a flight of 1 hour with 2 people each time.
A pity, but hey, that couldn’t really spoil the flight.
Los Angeles International Airport
Since it was still too early for our flight to Reno, we went down to the terrace of The Proud Bird , an aviation-related eatery, where you sit close to the approach of runway 25L and thus have a beautiful view of the landing planes.
