Naha Part I October 19, 2019
Naha Airport
Naha airport is located on one of Japan’s southern islands, a good hour’s flight from Taiwan’s capital Taipei.
After arriving on the island of Okinawa, we spent the rest of the day spotting near the airport after picking up our luggage and rental car.
In addition to civilian aircraft, of course, there are aircraft of the JASDF, JMSDF and the JCG here.
We found our first spotter spot on the “islet” of Senaga, located on the south side and between the 2 runways of Naha Airport and gives a nice view of the airport.
The disadvantage is the position of the sun in the morning until 1 p.m., but we did not suffer from this at all thanks to the cloud cover.
