Hsinchu Air Base
Our last spotter’s day on the island of Taiwan.
Because there was a lot of heat haze hanging over the course fairly early on, we moved a little further into the approach.
We may not have them when taxiing and or taking off, but the pictures may be just as good
Around noon, it was then time to move again to the other side of the axis of the runway.
This time we parked in a restaurant parking lot, where after some time we were also visited by “security” people from the base.
After taking a picture of our passports and answering questions where we knew where to stand and how that we knew there was flying here, etc they left again and we spent the rest of the afternoon in that parking lot.
