Davis Monthan AFB

The Fairchild Republic A-10C, considered by many to be the ugliest aircraft in the world, but also loved by many just because of its looks.
The 355 FW, which is based at Davis Monthan AFB is the only formal training unit for the A-10 aircraft and provides initial and recurrent training to all U.S. Air Force A-10 and OA-10 pilots, including those of the Air Force Reserve Command (AFRC) and the Air National Guard (ANG).

And we knew it that day ;).
